Flagstaff Academy is governed by a Board of Directors in accordance with the bylaws of the organization. The Board of Directors consists of committed and dedicated volunteers who may be parents of Flagstaff Academy students or other community members, and whom must share and uphold the vision and mission of Flagstaff Academy.
The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the annual school budget, reviewing and approving the curriculum, establishing policies and procedures consistent with Flagstaff’s mission, hiring the principal, long range planning, site and facility development, and much more.

President
Mrs. Rebecca Pepin graduated from Pomona
College in Claremont,
California, and then returned home to Colorado
to pursue a legal degree from the University
of Denver, College
of Law. In 1992, Rebecca Pepin
began practicing law as an Associate Attorney with Gerald Jorgensen, P.C.
practicing civil litigation, misdemeanor criminal and mediation/arbitration.
After taking some time off to further her education and teach, Rebecca returned
to continue her civil litigation focus as well as estate planning. Rebecca is
licensed to practice law before all Colorado State Courts and the United States
District Court for the District of Colorado and she is an active member of the
Colorado Bar Association. She volunteers for the American Red Cross
teaching CPR and First Aid Classes. She and her husband have a son and
daughter at Flagstaff Academy.
Vice President
Dr. Harrie Netel
received his Masters and PhD in Physics from the University
of Twente in The Netherlands.
He started his career as a Research Physicist at the Lawrence
Livermore National Laboratory in California
where he developed high-resolution X-ray and gamma-ray spectrometers. He joined
General Electric Healthcare in Wisconsin
where he worked as a Design Engineer of medical imaging equipment. He is
currently working as a Director of Customer Technical Support for Seagate
Technology in Longmont. In his
spare time Harrie enjoys long distance running, hiking and skiing. Harrie and
his wife Christa have three children, two of which are attending Flagstaff
Academy.
Treasurer
Mrs. Sandra Weckerly received her
Bachelor's Degree from the University
of Arizona with a major in
Political Science and a minor in Mathematics. She has worked in Real Estate
Development for 13 years beginning as a corporate officer and partner with a
major residential construction firm which she left for a position as CFO and
controller of a real estate development company. After marrying her husband,
she became partners with him in his real estate development company. Taking
time off to be home with their 5 children, Sandra currently has limited
day-to-day responsibilities related to their company business. David and Sandra
have 5 children at Flagstaff.
Secretary
Mr. Cody Thompson received his Bachelor’s degree from the University
of Illinois at Chicago
in Electrical Engineering. Cody is a systems design engineer at Ericsson,
a telecommunications company that develops both custom and platform level
products for wireless and wire line operators. On weekends Cody
enjoys road biking, building something around the house and spending time with
his family enjoying life. They have two sons who currently attend Flagstaff Academy.
Director
Dr. Nate Ginn received his Bachelor's Degree in Zoology:Pre-Med from Brigham
Young University
and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic. He owns and
operates Accelerated Rehab Therapy in Greeley, Colorado.
The clinic provides Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy and
Acupuncture in a multidisciplinary setting. He and his wife Brandi (author,
graphic artist, photographer and stay at home mom) live in Longmont
with their 4 daughters, 3 of them in attendance at Flagstaff
Academy.
Director
Mrs. Linda Arnold received her Bachelor's degree in Communications from University
of Colorado, Boulder
and Masters in Business Communications and Public Relation from Emerson
College in Boston,
MA. Linda has over 20 years marketing
and management experience in the high tech industry. She has also served
the Boulder/Longmont community for over 11 years in multiple board and
volunteer positions including the Longmont Museum Advisory Board, Boulder
Community Celebrations (The Boulder Creek Festival) and service as Victim
Advocate for the Boulder County District Attorney. She has served on PTO boards,
and has been an executive board member of the League of Women Voters.
Linda and her husband John have 2 sons at Flagstaff
Academy.
Director
Mr. Wayne Granger is a 15-year veteran and Sergeant at the Commerce City Police
Department. Wayne currently
supervises the Traffic Unit and oversees all police staffing for events at
Dick’s Sporting Goods
Park, an 18,000-seat professional
soccer stadium and concert venue, and the largest soccer complex in the
nation. During his law enforcement career Wayne
worked closely with schools on school safety issues and he has experience in
Emergency Preparedness. Wayne
received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Criminology from the University of
Colorado-Boulder in 1993. Wayne and his wife, Vikki, (stay at home mom
and virtual tour company owner) have three daughters, two of them currently
attending Flagstaff Academy.
