Voces Angelicae

Voces Angelicae was founded in 1984 by the composer and conductor Ivan Moody, and gave many concerts in London, especially of Renaissance polyphony and Russian sacred music; it also made several successful recordings for the Ikon label. Since 2001 it has been directed by Francis Knights, a founder member of the choir. It now consists of a flexible ensemble of five to 30 young voices, specializing both in church music and Renaissance consort music. In recent years it has given concerts in Christ Church Picture Gallery, the Museum of the History of Science and Exeter College Chapel, and sung services in New College and Magdalen College  chapels.
