Church Programs

Fall is upon us and we’ll soon be dazzled with the beautiful transformation of color around us and will be preparing for winter as well.  One of the other sure signs of fall is the start up of the many programs/activities that the Fredericton Junction and Tracy United Baptist Churches provide each week and we invite you to attend one or more of them.

Sunday Church Services are held each week @ 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, alternating weekly between the two churches.  Nursery and Junior Church programs are provided for your children.

Sunday School is open to those of a young age up to adult.  Study and learn from the Word of God and other sources of teaching.  Learn many songs of praise and participate in a Christmas concert and other outside activities.  Sunday school is held each week between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. in each church.

Pioneer Clubs is a weekly children’s ministry opened to all children in the community attending Grades 1 to 8.  Children learn what God can do in their lives and also participate in physical activities.  They will learn how to be a Shepherd of God by delivering goodies to the shut-ins during Valentine season and other such activities.  This ministry is held each Tuesday night from 7:00 until 8:30 at the Tracy United Baptist Church. Watch for further announcements for the registration.

Wednesday Night Prayer & Bible Study is held each Wednesday evening alternating between the Fredericton Junction and Tracy United Baptist Churches beginning at 7:00 p.m.  This group shares a devotional which generates some great discussions of learning.

P.I.G.S. – Puppets In God’s Service is a children’s ministry teaching the Word of God through the world of puppetry. Lots of practice and great fun are two of the ingredients of this great ministry. They also occasionally go on ministry outings to other churches and venues.

Tuesday Early Morning Prayer Time – This small group gathers every Tuesday morning in the Junction Church to pray for those in need of a personal relationship with Christ as well as those who have specific needs in their life. We gather at 8:00 a.m. for about an hour.

Women’s Missionary Group is comprised of ladies interested in supporting and promoting the work of Missions in our Church and Convention.  They meet every 2nd Monday of the month in the afternoon at the Junction Church and the 4th Monday of every month in the evening in Tracy. These women keep apprised of all the missionaries who are serving in the mission field and those who are home on furlough.  Any new interested ladies are invited to attend.

Club 65 welcomes all seniors in the community who like to socialize once a month at the Tracy United Baptist Church Family Center.  They usually begin with a noon luncheon and then take in an activity, listen to a special speaker or do a short devotion.  Those from White Rapids Manor are able to attend as well.  Occasionally, a day long bus tour is organized for those who wish to partake.

Our Youth Ministry meets each Friday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Disciples of Christ Youth Group is comprised of teens attending Junior and Senior High School. Each evening begins with a devotional followed by an activity and ends with munchies.  Quite often this group travels to youth rallies within the Association area and usually attends youth activities such as Spring Forth and Youth Convention.  Come and see what God can do in your life!! New teens are always welcome!

Ladies’ Bible Study- Meets monthly at the home of study leader, Sharon Slipp. Always open to new ladies, this group gathers for fellowship around the Word of God. For more information, call Sharon at 368-2635.

Pastor Harrison and his church family welcomes you to attend any or all of these functions held in our Churches each week.
