SOS – SAVE OR … SINK !!!

Personal Wealth Creation and Risk Management (PWCRM) – A two hour crash course in investment for all professionals working in large Corporate and progressive SME’s all over India.

I make presentations on "Personal Wealth Creation and Risk Management (PWCRM)", a topic of profound significance and importance for professionals working in big Corporate all over India. I see a lot of professionals earning good salaries; some of them splurge it away on Malling, Clubbing and Pubbing without caring two hoots for what could be lying in store for them and a few others are blissfully unaware of the merits of starting a savings program early in life.

After reading the article published in the Hindu Business Line recently http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/todays-paper/tp-others/tp-states/article2678912.ece many people are wondering how someone could create multi-generational wealth while most others are struggling to make ends meet.

The program will help them in taking stock of their present situation in life, consolidating their gains, covering their risks and striving for greater levels of success.

The presentation covers:

1. Benefits of starting your savings program at an early stage in life

2. Creating avenues of passive income through investment in Real Estate, Stock Market, Mutual Funds, etc.

3. Creating wealth in a Tax Efficient manner

4. Managing the avenues of passive income created

5. Understanding the financial and other risks associated with various types of investment.

6. Consolidating gains and striving for higher levels of success.

7. Covering the personal risks that each person is exposed to so that they emerge victorious even in the worst case scenario.

I have made over 600 presentations at Infosys, Sasken, iGATE, Wipro, Motorola, IBM, TCS, Polaris, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra Satyam, etc. covering over 30,000 professionals.

How does your Company benefit?

Those who attend will be charged up by the end of the presentation. Their self confidence levels, desire to consolidate and to achieve greater levels of success will improve dramatically. As I will be touching upon some core values in life, the team spirit will also improve. A happy bunch of charged up employees will help your Company in reducing project complexity, time for execution and overall cost. This will give a tremendous boost to your Company's top line and also bottom line.

When will the results begin to show?

The results will begin to show after the critical mass is reached. This may vary from Company to Company depending upon the current state of affairs with-in the Company. For a large progressive Company this figure would be close to 10% of the population. Once the critical mass is reached, the thresholds will be released and catapult the rest of the employees and the Company into progressively higher levels of orbit.

Will it help arrest attrition?

People are much less likely to leave prematurely and voluntarily if they are learning, recognized individually, valued and appreciated, building their career toward their dreams, and part of something that is valuable to their organization and society. When people are truly engaged and energized in their work and career, they spread that energy, and the entire organization thrives.

What people say:

I have personally listened to him twice, and had even arranged a special talk in my office. It was so shocking to me that I have neglected such an important point in my life so far, and have sought the help of Anand in advising me on this. Better late than never, I guess. Above all, his advice and services come with no strings attached! I have the personal conviction in strongly recommending that you all try to attend this talk. You would find it immensely interesting and useful (well worth braving the Bangalore traffic :-) )

Go for it, BITSians!

Hello Anand,

It was a wonderful session that you took for us on 5
th Sept. ‘06. More than anything, I liked your idea of creating awareness among the younger crowd who earn a lot but dont know how and where to invest and save for future.  It is indeed such a great service you are doing for this nation.  Thank you very much for being who you are with such genuine thoughts.

As you might be getting flooded with many requests for consultation, you may also please include me in the list and send the form that you require the data to be filled in by us.

Thank you very much.

ts. Ideal size of the audience would be 50 to 200.

I had the privilege of attending Anand's marathon 2 hour session on April 13, 2009 at the tightly packed hall in Infosys Pune SEZ. I think it was one of the best things that I did since I graduated from BITS in 1996! Also, I wondered that it would have been truly wonderful if I had got a chance to attend such a session 13 years ago when I was entering into the corporate world. I remembered Swami Vivekanand's quote that "Ignorance is the Mother of all Misery", and thanked Anand for awakening so many folks through the simple but impactful message to become master of our own fates as far as investing is concerned.

I was amazed by his authority on the subject and the chord he was able to strike with the attendees. His intent is beyond question. I feel that the entire BITS family should help him in his efforts to make more and more folks sensitive to his line of thought and the message that he's trying to give.

It'll be good if BITSAA Pune is able to organize some sessions in Pune to enlighten fellow BITSians here.

I would also like to appeal to Prof. Natarajan and other key folks in BITS Management if they can provide a platform to Anand at BITS Pilani campuses, as I am sure that our fellow BITSIANS would greatly benefit and enter the corporate world with some sound investment fundamentals.

Anand, thanks again for the wonderful session; it was great interacting with you. And good luck for your future endeavors!

Anurag Sethi
