Fly Fishing the Ste-Marguerite River
Welcome to my personal Home Page. Just a place where friends can follow my antics. As you can see my primary activity in my leisure time is fly fishing. I've been guiding part time for Atlantic Salmon and Sea run brook trout on the Ste-Marguerite River for several years so naturally this is where I spend most weekends and spare time. For those who think Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) is for the rich, snobs and professionals, think again. The fishing we do is accessible, easy to learn (even for novice fly fishers) and a very pleasant way to spend a day on the water with friends. If you are new to fly fishing or would like to discover a new river or both, drop us a line. As always, you can also leave a note in the Guest book. Lastly, I finally got a chance to get my thoughts down on paper.

A quick swing through the #49 last weekend and a shore lunch was at hand. The salmon have arrived. Not early, but not late either. After a slow start because of low water conditions, the rain has finally helped and the river is at an excellent level to get nice presentations to most of the lies.
Sunday, June 14th - First salmon on the Ste-Marguerite.Congratulations Dany Bérubé - Gatineau Quebec
Javier Jos - First day with a fly rod in hand!
After a short morning of casting instruction, I had him over some salmon.
