We all have different ways of doing things. We have different ideas and beliefs about things. We have different ways of solving problems and playing games. This Sunday we are going to talk about how important it is to respect the different ways people think about G/god, the divine, the holy.

Talk with your child about G/god, the divine, the holy and where you see it or feel it. You may be surprised by some of your son/daughter’s observations. Take some time with your son/daughter to look around your home and your neighborhood for something that reflects your view of G/god, the divine, the holy – perhaps a special person, a miracle of nature, something special, etc.

How can we answer big questions and solve mysteries? One way is to ask small questions. Once we answer enough small questions then we might get some larger answers. We 're going to practice doing this by playing a game like "20 Questions."

We'll hear the story The Three Questions and consider and consider the Big Questions asked in the story:

When is the best time to do things? Who is the most important one? What is the right thing to do?

Then we will come up with our own Big Questions and consider the idea that we may never know the answers to all of our questions. But if we keep asking them and talking about them, at church and at home and at school, we can get closer and closer to the answers.
