Bring Your Own Brush and painting gear!
This Saturday, June 28, Property Volunteers will be painting the Fellowship Hall (inside and outside), other doors in the Sanctuary. All painters and DIY minded individuals are welcome lend a brush. We will meet at Fellowship Hall at 8:00 a.m. and plan to wrap up at 2:00 p.m.

AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training:
There will be an AED training on June 29, 2008 in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30 p.m. The training will be presented by Lt. Rich Hamill of the Maitland Fire Department. Anyone interested in being trained on how to use the AED is encouraged to attend.
Summer Art Camp for Kids! It's back!
FPCM presents the seventh annual Summer Art Camp for
Kids again this year in the Family Life Center. Cheryl Smith
will be working with future artists during the weeks of June 30 - July 3,
and July 14 - 18. Clay, painting, drawing, printing, mixed
media and art exploration are available for the campers to explore and learn about.
Half-day sessions are $90 per session and full day sessions are $150 per
session for the week July 14 - 18. During the week June 30 - July 3, half
day sessions are $72 and full day sessions are $120. Pick up a
registration form at the church office or Family Life Center. For information

Canine Companions will visit with the Children of Sunday School on June 29. Visitors are invited to join us. Later we will make “doggie thank yous” for our two-legged and lfour-egged guests. This is part of our summer program on missions and caring for people around the world and our community.
Senior Fellowship!
Don’t forget GAME DAY each Thursday, 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall area. We are having a lot of laughs and good fellowship, so come join us and bring your favorite game. Variety and a new learning experience can add to the fun and make the afternoon more enjoyable. Bring a friend!

VBS 2008 is coming...
… Rainforest Adventure: A Tree Top Bible Blast is our theme for the week of July 28 - August 1.

Hands for Hire program
Need help gardening, babysitting, or cleaning the house? Let Hands for Hire help! Hands for Hire is a wonderful way for you to get extra help, while supporting the church's youth. This program allows youth the opportunity to raise money for their future church-related events and trips. Simply email Beth Wilson at bethgem71@yahoo.com with the date you need help, jobs you need help with and your contact information. She will match you with a youth and get you in touch. This is a wonderful way for congregants and youth to help each other! If you have questions about the program, please contact the youth office at (407) 644-3455."
Adult Sunday School Classes
9:30 a.m.— The Gospel of Luke: Join us as we continue our study of the New Testament with the Gospel of Luke. The class will be partly lecture and partly interactive. We will use a commentary by Clinton Arnold which will be available to class members who would like it for $10. Newcomers are welcome. Led by Dena & Dave Anderton and Madge & Jerry Sutcliffe. 10:30 a.m. — Creative and Connective Prayer(on-going) The Reverend Jeanne Miller-Clark will continue to coordinate the practice of embodied prayer to offer an incarnational experience. The bodily experience enables us to become more aware of God's presence in listening to God's call on our lives. Newcomers are welcome. (Gathering Place)
Children & Youth Sunday School
Childcare for Worship Services: Infants and toddlers will be welcomed in the Nursery Suite (Room 100) of the education building at 9:30 and 11:00. Kidz Club for preschoolers (3-5) will also meet in the nursery suite at 11:00.
This Summer, the children of our Sunday School are collecting materials to go into Goodie Bags for the Ronald McDonald House. They are learning mission and caring for others in our community. We are asking members of the congregation to bring in any of the following items:
Candy (melt-resistant)
Hand sanitizer (travel size)
Notepad and Pen
Journal Playing cards
Phone cards
Bottled water Gum/Mints
Sunscreen (travel size)
Tissues (travel pack)
Our children will assemble the bags on August 17. Mark your items “for the Ronald McDonald House” and leave them in the church office. See Sue Peterson for more information
