vivid is a summer program for the children of Old Hickory, TN by the people of Old Hickory, TN. vivid (sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Old Hickory and the Old Hickory United Methodist Church) is a six-week  program which meets twice weekly to help introduce kids to the visual arts, music, and the environmental arts. The vivid program offers kids an opportunity to create, to play, and to develop relationships with adults who love kids and want to help kids exercise their creative gifts.

• The STAND is Back!  Saturday April 28 @ 6pm, join us for something exciting and real. A concert & worship open to everyone in the community. Come out and join us on the grass at 11th and Hadley Ave as we welcome Armando Vera. Also, right across the street starting at 4:30pm will be food and an auction fundraiser at the Church of Christ Annex bldg to raise money for a new sign for Old Hickory Village.
