We will begin working in groups on Monday, 11-16-09. After your group comes up with an outline of your experiment and a detailed materials list, it will be time to start building parachutes and testing them!Make sure to follow along with the template given to your group as you continue to work on your experiment. You are required to fill out the packet with lots of details. When collecting data, you must REPEAT YOUR EXPERIMENT AND COLLECTION PROCESS THREE TIMES! That's right: 3 times. This will help to ensure that your data is valid. You will be able to average your results when presenting it to your audience if you choose. When you are done with the experiment, your group will be creating a poster and then presenting your results to the class. Below is a rubric that explains in detail how you will be graded.

The Planning and Presentation
Templates must be turned in when you present your poster to the class. Each section must be completely
filled out. Make sure that your
group has included details while explaining your experimental process. Vague answers will not be given full
credit. Use these templates to
help drive your daily activities.
Feel free to change and add to the templates as needed (after checking
with me first of course). Use
the presentation template to help your group organize and ready yourself for
presenting your poster. The
whole packet is worth 30 points.
