The first international workshop on Future Internet and Next Generation Networks (FINGNet) will be held in Seoul, Korea on 30th June to 2nd July 2011. The first FINGNet is the forum for not only researchers and engineers, but also industry workers and users to present and discuss topics related to advanced Internet and network technologies. Authors are welcome to submit their unpublished and related papers at the workshop. Research areas covered by the workshop include but are not limited to architectures and platforms, quality of services and traffic engineering, and communication and security issues.
Topics
- Architectures and platforms of FINGNet
- Quality of Services and traffic engineering in FINGNet
- Communication and security issues in FINGNet
- Simulation modeling and analysis for FINGNet
- Performance modeling and evaluation of FINGNet - Programmable and experimental networks - Mobile and wireless sensor networks - Modeling and measurement of traffic in FINGNet - Mobile Internet applications and services - High performance computing on FINGNet - Parallel computing on FINGNet
Paper Submission
Submit a full paper of not more than eight pages (proceedings manuscripts: two columns, single-spaced), including figures and references, using 10 point font size, and number each page. You can find instructions for authors how to format the manuscript at the following web page: http://www.computer.org/portal/site/cscps/
Prepare your paper in a PDF file (Adobe format), and submit it electronically to the EasyChair web page: http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=fingnet2011.
All papers will be peer reviewed, and accepted papers of FINGNet 2011 will be given guidelines in preparing and submitting the final manuscript(s) together with the notification of acceptance.
Proceedings of the FINGNet 2011 will be published by Conference Publishing Services (CPS) of IEEE Computer Society. Selected papers at FINGNet 2011 will be further considered for possible publication in the special issue on "Performance Modeling and Simulation for Future Mobile Networks" of "Mathematical and Computer Modelling (MCM), ISSN: 0895-7177, ELSEVIER", which is a journal indexed in SCIE (The most recent Impact Factor for this journal is 1.103, according to the 2009 Journal Citation Reports released by Thomson Reuters in 2010), and also see www.elsevier.com/locate/mcm.
