Welcome to Casa Campestre and Cafe Campestre, Ometepe’s  organic tropical farm and guesthouse.  We have  campsite , cabaña and guesthouse accommodation and private lake access with spectacular  views and wildlife on the beautiful tree fringed shore. There you can experience howler monkeys while swimming in the lake with uninterrupted views of Ometepe's 2 volcano's - Maderas and Conception (the smoking giant just a short eruption away!)

Casa Campestre and Cafe Campestre are perfectly situated for a stay on Ometepe being central to most of the activities to be found on the island. We are situated in the village of Balgue and can help organise Hiking, Canoeing, Fishing, Motorcycle or Bicycle rental, Horse Riding or many other excursions that are available. Or if hikings not your thing then maybe just relax on the farm or in our guesthouse and enjoy the tranquility before making your lunch or dinner from our kitchen gardens and farm produce or, instead,  eat at our Cafe in Balgue.

Whatever you feel like doing, Casa Campestre and Cafe Campestre are great places from which to enjoy your stay on Ometepe.
