Butchers are cheaper for meat than the local grocery store.
Vegetable stores are cheaper and usually fresher that grocery stores, some have internal butcheries as well.
Medicines will be cheaper at a franchise pharmacy rather than the local chemist.

Your local corner shop buys it's goods from Trade Centre and Makro, you can get their prices just by shopping there rather than pay a mark up.
