These allow you to leave the main door open so you can get a lot more light in as well as a better view while also allowing you to use the air conditioning OR heater - whichever the case may be.
Here is the finished product. If your eyes are good, you can see how handsome I am. Notice NO velcro, NO mirror brackets.
Here is a little detail. I used .080" plastic sheeting from Home Depot. This plastic fits inside the gap in the aluminum frame. All I have to do is flex the plastic a little and it slides right in.
The top was a little trickier as I had to round the edges. You'l want to use a router to cut this stuff. I tried it on a tablesaw and, although it did cut alright, it was a little rough.
