| Can I march in flip flops? | No. Closed toe shoes must be worn during all rehearsals. You should wear comfortable shoes with good arch support. You will be on your feet for long periods of time during rehearsal. Band shoes will be worn for all performances except the WABL parade where white tennis shoes must be worn. | | What is a rookie? | A band member joining Firestone Band for the first year is a rookie, regardless of class standing. | | What should I bring to rehearsal? | Your instrument, your music, a pencil, a water bottle and anything else your instructor told you to bring that day. |
