FAFSA/FINANCIAL AID NIGHT AT FARRINGTON HIGH SCHOOL Farrington High School will hold its annual FAFSA/Financial Aid night on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 6:30pm in the school auditorium. Learn about the FAFSA and financial aid and how it can help you pay for college. Completing the FAFSA is a necessity if you want to qualify for grants, scholarships, and certain types of loans THE MANOA EXPERIENCE
The Manoa Experience, on Saturday, October 17th, is UH Manoa's premier on-campus academic event of the fall semester. It is open to all students and their parents and will feature open houses by the various Schools and Colleges. Participants can choose where to go and what to see. The faculty has planned a great day of interactive sessions which will provide a glimpse into their degree programs and majors. There will also be food vendors, entertainment, and representatives from the different student clubs and organizations. COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES TO HOLD INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS FOR STUDENTS The following schools will be holding informational sessions for interested students and their parents: 1) Creighton University on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at Punahou School, Luke Lecture Hall at the Wo International Center. This is open to high school juniors and seniors; 2) Tufts University on Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at 7:00pm at Mid Pacific Institute, Weinberg Technology Center - Seminar Room. Open to all high school students; 3) University of Southern California on Sunday, October 18th at 2:00pm at the Waikiki Beach Marriot Hotel. Open to high school seniors.
