Gates Millennium Scholars Program 01-11-2010 www.gmsp.org online Gates Millenium Scholars Program - Criteria: 1) Are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American; 2) citizen/legal permanent resident or national of the U.S.; 3) Cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale; 4) demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities; 5) meet the federal Pell Grant eligibility as determined by filling out the FAFSA. Deadline: January 10, 2010. Apply online at www.gmsp.org  
Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation Scholarship 01-15-2010 www.hryf-d5000.org A-158 or go to website to print out app  Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation Scholarship Program - Criteria: 1) graduating high school senior applying as a full-time student to an accredited 4-year college or university in Hawaii and the U.S. mainland to earn a bachelors degree; 2) Must be a U.S. citizen and legal resident of Hawaii; 3) transcript; 4) recommendations; 5) Student Aid Report (SAR) as determined through FAFSA; 6) personal statement. Deadline: January 15, 2010. Pick up application in A-158 or go to www.hryf-d5000.org 
Farrington Scholarship Program 01-27-2010  A-158 or under FHS Scholarship application tab It is open to all graduating Farrington seniors. Scholarships are for two-year and four-year colleges/universities, business and technical institutions. No restrictions as to majors, institution, and/or location, unless stated by scholarship donor. Selection based on academic achievement, financial need, service to school/community.

Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition 02-01-2010 www.collegeboard.com/yes www.collegeboard.com/yes Requirements: submit a research project that sheds light on a health problem, using the methods of analysis employed by epidemiologists. 
KFC Colonel's Scholars 02-10-2009 www.kfcscholars.org www.kfcscholars.org Qualification: graduation from high school this year, maintaining a cumulative GPA 2.75 or higher, enrolling in a public in-state college or university, pursuing a bachelor's degree and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.  
Hawaii Self Storage 02-12-2010 www.hawaiiselfstorage.com/scholarships.asp A-158 or go to website to print out app Hawaii Self Storage Scholarship - criteria: 1) be a Hawaii resident; 2) be enrolled full time at a college or university in 2010; 3) completed application and essay. Pick up application in A-158. Deadline: February 12, 2010. Return completed application and essay to Mr. Honda in A-158 
Charles R. Kendall Scholarhsip and Education Fund 02-26-2010 http://www.hgea.org/Benefits/Scholarships.aspx http://www.hgea.org/Benefits/Scholarships.aspx Criteria: 1) Financial need; 2) academic achievement/transcript; 3) personal letter; 4) three completed recommendation forms; 5) be a HGEA member or dependent of HGEA member in good standing for at least one year; 6) must submit photo; 7) deadline: postmarked by February 26, 2010. 
Central Union Church Women's League Scholarship 02-28-2010  A158 Requirements: personal statement, letters of recommendation and official transcripts. All materials must be postmarked by February 28, 2010 and only the first 60 completed applications will be considered. 
Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarship Program 03-01-2010 www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org online Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarship Program: Varying scholarships available . One application allows you to apply for multiple scholarships. Materials needed: online application confirmation page; personal statement; student aid report (through FAFSA); official transcript; letters of recommendation (required for some scholarships); essay (required for some scholarships). Application available online beginning December 14th, 2009 at www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org. Deadline: postmarked by March 1, 2010. Go online now to see what scholarships are available, then begin applying on Decembert 14th. 
Filipino Women's League Community Scholarship Program 03-01-2010  A158 Eligibility: Filipino ancestry, current hawaii student with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better, acceptance letter of institution of higher learning in the state of Hawaii, full time student. Selection criteria based on: Personal letter, 2 letters of recommendation, school transcript and personal interview 
100th Infantry Battalion Legacy Scholarship 03-08-2010  A158 Criteria: 1) completed application form/checklist; 2) official high school transcript; 3) two letters of recommendation; 4) community service and extracurricular activities; 5) essay on specific topic; 6) deadline: received by March 8, 2010. 
American Business Women's Associaiont - Punahele Chapter 03-26-2010  A-158 Criteria: 1) must complete scholarship application form; 2) must attend a local trade, community college, or university in the fall of 2010; 3) two letters of recommendation from a non-relative; 4) transcript and SAT scores; 5) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better; 6) one full page signed biographical statement; 7) deadline: received by March 26, 2010.  
Prince Kuhi'o Hawaiian Civic Club Scholarhsip  04-01-2010  Application in attachments (2 pages) or in A158 Eligibility Criteria: 1. Be of Hawaiian ancestry 2. College Bound high school students, full time 3. Cumulative GPA 2.5 4. Demonstrate academic and leadership potential 
Oahu Retired Teachers Scholarship Grants 04-09-2010  A158 Eligibility: Any students attending college who is in need of financial assistance. Selection Criteria include: Financial need, family circumstances, academic achievement, recommendations and priority given to education majors. 
Gromet Foundation Scholarship 10-24-2009  Application in attachments (2 pages) or in A158 Applicants must also submit high school transcript; SAT/ACT scores; last year's parent 1040 federal tax return; two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a teacher or counselor. This scholarship is for financially disadvantaged students who excel academically, awarding $1500 annually for students attending Hawaii universities and $5000 annually for students attending mainland universities 
Horatio Alger Scholarship Program 10-30-2009 http://www.horatioalger.org/scholarships On Website Be enrolled full time as a high school senior, progressing normally toward graduation, and planning to enter college no later than Fall 2010; have a strong commitment to pursue a bachelor's degree at an accredited public or private institution; possess financial need; involved in co-curricular and community activities; demonstrate academic achievement; and be a citizen of the United States.  
Beta Zeta Chapter of Pi Lambda Theta 11-30-2009  A158 Eligibility: pursue a field in education; cumulative GPA of 3.5; enrolled full time at an accredited institution in Fall of '09-'10; essay; transcript; letter of recommendation 
Honolulu Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce Scholarship 12-18-2009  A158 Requirements: Proof of financial need, Personal statement, Essay, Two letters of recommendation and a transcript. 
Soroptomist International Youth Citizenship Award 12-31-2009  A-158 Soroptomist International Youth Citizenship Awards are given in recognition of the outstanding contributions made by young people to home, school, community, country and the world. Applicants must be graduating during the current school year. Awards are cash awards, to be used at the discretion of the recipient in any manner that will best further his/her aims and purposes. In addition to citizenship and merit, applicants are judged on service, dependability, leadership, and sense of purpose. Application deadline: postmarked no later than December 31, 2009. Pick up an application in A-158. 
Mensa Education & Research Foundation 12-31-2009  Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Mensa Foundation Scholarships Mensa Hawaii Chair 201 Ohua Ave. Tower I #7089 Honolulu, HI 96815 Eligibility: Residents of a participating American Mensa local group who will be enrolled in an accredited U.S. institution of post-secondary education for Fall term of 2010.
