Our lab seeks to answer questions in
regenerative biology by following three lines of research. By studying
oligodendrocyte biology and myelination, we hope to identify basic
principles with the long-term goal to develop novel therapeutic strategies
for Multiple Sclerosis. Our work investigating the basic biology of
embryonic and adult neural stem cells in combination with nerve
regeneration ultimately aims at transplantation and/or in vivo
manipulation in order to promote nervous system regeneration.
