Poetry and Memorabilia

Words of the Wounded - Submission Day

If you have an interest in World War One, or have some written memorabilia from the Great War you would like to show, you are invited to come along to this event to be a part of Remembrance 90. We are particularly interested in the poems and songs that service men and women wrote. There will be experts on hand to advise on memorabilia and the history of the period, as well as an exhibition and display.

Not about heroes

This play by Stephen MacDonald presents the story of the friendship between the First World War poets Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon which was forged while both were inmates at the Military Hospital for Nervous Diseases at Craiglockhart in Edinburgh. Presented by the Rowan Tree Company.
