Creative Writing Workshop led by Bashabi Fraser

A great chance to unleash your love of words! Join this creative writing workshop led by Bashabi Fraser. Ms Fraser is a children's writer, poet and editor based in Edinburgh. She is a Lecturer in English and Creative Writing at Napier University.

Do you keep a notebook for your ideas, for quotes you come across or for random thoughts? Do you keep a diary? Do like inventing stories or writing poems? Do you enjoy creating characters and making up dialogues? Do you like PLAYING with WORDS? Well, why not come along to this Creative Writing workshop with Bashabi Fraser and find out what is just waiting to be written by you?

Edinburgh Premiere of feature-length documentary  “The Hollywood Librarian”

Introduced by the director, Ann Seidl. Dozens of interviews of real librarians are interwoven with movie clips of cinematic librarians and serve as transitions between the themes of censorship, intellectual freedom, children and librarians, pay equity and funding issues, and the value of reading.
