New members are always welcome -just contact one of the names on the contact page or better still come along to a Sunday morning spin or one of our race events held most Tuesday evenings during the summer months at Castlehyde Fermoy.

Anyone from the age of 10 upwards are welcome to join. We are actively recruiting kids for the forthcoming seasons and recommend any child interested in joining to come along for a short spin to see if they like it.

Loan bikes are available as a "Try before you buy" for the kids (contact Jim or Michael at Hennesy cycles for details and availability)

Kids Programme : Under 12's and Under 14's meet for a spin with two club senior riders on Fridays at 6.30pm from the Park Gates they learn bike skills, road manners, racing skills but most of all enjoy the 1 - 2 hours with the experienced riders

Sundays (when not racing ) a long spin is run from 10am til approx 12-12.30pm where general fitness is the objective.

We operate a Webtext service to keep parents up to date on any changes to training due to weather etc.

Tuesday evenings over the summer months involve the Hennessy Cycles summer league run for all age groups starting at Castlehyde from 7.30pm.

Over the winter months the Sunday morning spin continues weather permitting but the Friday training with the senior riders is changed to indoor turbo training sessions held on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at Colaiste on Chraoibhin sports hall. This is open to all ages.

 We welcome new members all year round. We meet at the Park Gates Fermoy most Sundays. Spins commence at 10.00am sharp.

 If you would like to cycle with our club on a regular basis, you will be required apply for Cycling Ireland membership after your first spin. This is to ensure that all riders have insurance cover.
