Are you looking for low cost spaying or neutering for your family pet? Check out Broward County's S.P.O.T. program here.

Almost every neighborhood in Broward County has feral cats. Estimates calculate there are more than 300,000 feral cats living among us. A female feral cat can give birth to hundreds of kittens in her lifetime. To maintain a healthy animal community, it is important that the population of feral cats be controlled. Studies show that sterilization is the first line of defense in controlling a feral cat population.

goal is to control the number of feral cats in our community, so that the existing population can thrive and age naturally. Feral cat sterilization programs are funded in part by grants, but donations to support spay/neuter efforts and provide care for the feral cat population are welcomed and encouraged.

offers assistance with Trap/Neuter/Return for each caregiver who registers their neighborhood colony with us. In addition, subject to availability, we offer free food to registered colony caretakers.

Only un-owned, feral and neighborhood cats are eligible for the program.  Owned cats or cats that are intended for adoption, gifts or pets are not eligible.
