Member customers have a choice between an incentive rate or a per watt rebate.
CONSUMER RENEWABLE ENERGY SALES The Farmers Electric Cooperative’s (FEC) Consumer Renewable Energy Sales program will purchase the output of qualifying photovoltaic (PV) and small wind systems at $0.20 per kilowatt hour. You will continue to be billed for your electric usage using your existing meter at the current rate. Eligibility
Terms and conditions Enrollment Period: There will be a written contract between the renewable system owner and FEC for a 10-year term. Metering and Service Facilities: Participation requires two meters. One to measure the kWhr output of the renewable energy system, and the other to measure kWhr used by the home or business.
Renewable Attributes: FEC will have ownership of all associated renewable attributes and allowances produced by the customer’s renewable energy system for the 10-year term. Program Caps: Consumer system feed-in rate benefits shall be capped at 25% of monthly kWhr usage. Additional kWhrs generated can be used to offset normal usage at the net metered rate.
SOLAR & WIND SYSTEMS - $ 1,000 per kW Total system rebates are capped at $ 20,000 per year.
