Now is the Time to Enroll in Florida KidCare


Uninsured families throughout the state are encouraged to apply for Florida KidCare.
Florida KidCare, the state’s low-cost health insurance program for children under age 19, is designed to provide low-cost healthcare benefits to families regardless of their income. Coverage includes doctor visits, check-ups and shots, prescriptions, vision and hearing screenings, dental care, emergency services, surgical care and more. Florida KidCare enrollment is open year-round and monthly premiums depend on household size and income.

Learn, Return and Earn - This program funds scholarships through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). The LRE workforce training program connects you to industry recognized certifications, which lead to employment in high demand occuations.

 

You may qualify for the LRE program if:

  • You were laid off from your job or have received notice that your job will be eliminated.
  • You qualify based on income. (Including if you have been laid off and have taken a short term or part time job!)
