Frequently Asked Questions

What costs are covered by Financial Aid?

The FCTC Financial Aid Office offers funding for students who are eligible for various grants and programs. Fees like background checks, application fees, TABE test, etc., are not covered by these grants and are usually paid for by the student prior to enrollment.

What if I do not have a diploma?

Students who do not have their high school diploma or GED may still receive tuition benefits. After completing the TABE and scoring within program guidelines, you must take another test called the Wonderlic. This exam measures your skill levels to ensure you can comprehend and benefit from your course work and is required by the State of Florida. When you successfully pass the Wonderlic, you are eligible for aid.
