Established in 2008 in Knoxville, TN, the FC Alliance 97 Boys Black Team is a member of the FC Alliance Futbol Club. FC Alliance is Knoxville's premier futbol club. The 97 Boys Black team participates at the highest level of competition allowed for the club. Through the merger of the Impact and Smoky Mountain Soccer Clubs in 2008, FC Alliance strives to provide world-class training, an understanding of diversity, and a love for the beautiful game. The dedicated trainers of FC Alliance also use the game of soccer to help players understand key life skills - work ethic, commitment, determination, discipline, desire, accountability and responsibility. Through structured training, young men and women who participate in our competitive club program will develop these attributes with a soccer ball at their feet. At such a critical age of development, competitive soccer players must be in an environment that not only allows for progress and growth, but expects it. At FC Alliance, this expectation is grounded in a framework that has clear and concise goals and an equally clear and concise blueprint for reaching those goals. The staff at FC Alliance has created an organized system that emphasizes the life skills listed above while developing players in four key areas: - technically - tactically - physically - mentally During twice a week, 1.5 hour-long training sessions, each player will be coached on proper technique, competitive mindset, body mechanics, and the tactics of the game. FC Alliance is primed to become the touchstone for youth clubs in Tennessee that not only produces competitive soccer players, but outstanding young men and women as well. |
