You can use the latest Cartool version (usually a Beta Release) as your default version, as it gets new features and bug fixes on a regular basis. Should you encounter a real problem, you could then try to revert to the latest Official Release version, which acts as a reference for its stability. See here what's new with the latest releases.

To be able to actually download these files:

• you should be registered to the Cartool Community beforehand, and have received a registration acknowledgement,
• then you should be logged into your Google Account, or Google will deny you the access with a cryptic error  message.
