Farmers Branch Community Garden
The Farmers Branch Parks and Recreation Department, Farmers Branch Community and Chapel Hill United Methodist Church have broken ground together to build the Farmers Branch Community Garden, which features 62 plots, a composting area and a community orchard. This garden encourages the building of a community that will nurture the earth through sustainable gardening while growing healthy food for both the family and the community through Metrocrest Social Services.
Volunteers have been actively involved through meetings, special projects and work days to get the garden ready for its first spring planting. Even though all of our garden plots have been adopted, there are still many ways you can be part of the Farmers Branch Community Garden which is located at 12411 Templeton Trails. Please fill out the interested gardener form below and return to City Hall. We will include you on our email list so you can keep up on the exciting happenings and join the waiting list for future available plots. It's a great opportunity to learn, share, give back, make friends, and be Green. For more information contact Pam Smith at 972.919.2625. or pam.smith@farmersbranch.info
