Pastor Alan and several members of the church family and community recently filmed the movie "Sidewalk Singer" in and around Tecumseh, including scenes at the church. They were joined by feature film director and cinematographer Jeff Thomas, Unit Production Manager Brian Van Camp, Sound Engineer Chris Ferguson, Music Supervisor Kent Marcum, and Makeup Artist Rich Lozano.
Filming a family approved Christian movie allowed us to take Jesus outside the walls of the church and to the streets, which should be every church's desire. This venture also gave exposure to many local businesses, not to mention the fact that the individuals involved were blessed to learn about movie making first hand.The movie editing and accompanying soundtrack should be completed in late summer 2011.
