Our Pastor, Dan Eloe, came to First Baptist Church in November 1991 after serving four and half years as Senior Pastor at the First Baptist Church in Alhambra, Illinois. He also previously served as youth pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in St. Charles, Iowa. Pastor Eloe was raised in the states of Nebraska, Illinois, and Colorado where his father was a pastor. He is a graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also earned a Master of Divinity degree from Northwest Baptist Seminary in Tacoma, Washington.

Pastor Eloe was ordained to the ministry by First Baptist Church in Alhambra, Illinois. Pastor Eloe's wife, Barb, earned her bachelor of Science degree from Faith Baptist Bible College in elementary education. Pastor Eloe and Barb have four boys Erik, Justin, Jonathan, and Caleb.
