Because children are a special gift from God, a reward to be cherished we take seriously our responsibility to assist parents in their God-given responsibility to train their children. Our children’s ministry includes:
Nursery
Available for children up through age 3 during all services.

Sunday School
Each week our Sunday School hour for children ages 3 – 6th grade is a chance for our children to learn the lessons of the bible. Our teachers make the lessons relevant and present them at a level the children will understand.
Word of Life Olympian Club
Olympian Club is for children in grades 1 through 6. The club meets every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:00 pm from September Through April. A typical club night usually consists of singing songs, memorizing Bible truths, hearing a Bible lesson, breaking into application times for the lesson, and playing some games. In Olympian Club, the children learn the importance of God’s Word and of memorizing it for future use, all in a setting that lets them have fun and make friends! Parents love the club because it provides another time for their kids to learn from God’s Word during the school week. The club helps everyone to grow. Krystal Bell Choir
Children can be a part of our Krystal Bell Choir. This childrens hand bell choir ministers periodically throughout the year.
Daily Vacation Bible School
For one week during the summer months a Vacation Bible School is conducted for children
ages 4-6th grade. Bible stories, singing, crafts,and games makes VBS one of the highlights of our summer at FBC.
Camp Manitoumi
Many of our children enjoy spending a week at Camp Manitoumi in Lowpoint, IL. A camp scholarship program is available to children who would like to earn part of their camp fee.
Christmas
We always strive to get our children involved during the Christmas season. Our annual Children’s Christmas Play Production is always a highlight of the year for the children.
