In todays fast paced lifestyle we have so many things to take care of. We work, raise our kids, attend our kids school activities, help out in the community, etc. Society seems to have changed over the years. There was once a time when we all knew our neighbors and had them into our homes. Today we just do not seem to find the time to make friends and take the time to develop those friendships. At First Baptist Church we provide you with opportunities to interact and develop personal relationships with other adults and to have these relationships centered on Christ and service to him.
Adult Sunday Morning Bible Classes
 
Each Sunday morning our adults study God’s Word together in small group settings. This class is an informal setting where you have the chance to not only listen but to ask questions and discuss what the bible is saying to us.
 
 
 
Men Of The Word 
The goal of Men of the Word is to help men live godly lives through biblical truth, discipleship and accountability. Men Of The Word meets on Friday mornings for the purpose of studying God’s Word, prayer, fellowship and encouraging one another. We seek to train men to be better leaders in their homes, their places of work or school and in the church. Come and join this essential, no-nonsense gathering of men as we grow in God’s Word and glorify God with our lives.
 
 

Adult Fellowships

 We realize that occasionally adults need to get away from the pressures of work and family and that they need Christian fellowship.  Several times each year we provide the opportunity for our adults to interact in a casual and fun atmosphere outside of the normal church setting. We may get together for an activity or gather for food and fellowship.  Whenever we meet everyone seems to enjoy themself. These times develop closer friendships with the adults in our body.

 
 
Keenagers

 

Keen-Agers is a gathering of seniors 55+ who come together for a meal and to enjoy a time of fellowship. The Keenagers meet on the second Tuesday of the month  during the months of April to December. Watch for information on their upcoming events in the church bulletin and our web calendar.

 

Caring Card Makers

Caring Card Makers is a ministry designed to encourage, lift up, and show God’s love through handmade greeting cards. Caring Card Makers meet on the first Thursday of the month at 1:00 pm to make cards to send to those in the church family as well as those in the community. The Card Maker also enjoy a good time of fellowship each month as they minister and serve together.
