Mens' Prayer Breakfast - 10/24/09

This is where the men of the all three fellowships that meet at FBC come together to share a meal, some fellowship, and to pray! The men of Kaleo Church will be making the meal this time. We will start @ 8:00am in the Fellowship Hall. The past two have been great; please make plans to be there.

Calling all Moms! - Session Three

Focus on the Family Parenting Seminar Series-Your Child, Essentials of Discipline: What’s OK, What’s Not, and What Works. This is a 12 session series.  The frequency and time of our breakfast sessions is to be determined.  The sessions will include a DVD Lecture followed by discussion, encouragement and prayer.  The topics included are:

          1 - Why Your Child Needs Discipline     

          2 - Irresponsibility vs. Defiance

          3 - Anger vs. Action

          4 - Finding Balance in Discipline

          5 - To Spank or Not to Spank

          6 - Compliant vs. Defiant

          7 - Changing Discipline as Your Child Grows

          8 - Changing Discipline as Your Child Grows, Part 2

          9 - Protecting the Spirit

        10 - The Strong-Willed Adolescent

        11 - The Strong-Willed Adolescent, Part 2

        12 - The Ultimate Priority
