Charters for all scouting units in the Flint River Council expire on December 31, 2011.  All council units are now required to use the electronic recharter process available "online".  The attachments listed below basically make up a a recharter packet that will assist your unit in completing the process.  The required access codes are available from the Flint River Council office (770-227-4556); but may have been e-mailed to the Cubmaster/Scoutmaster/Committee Chair.

 

Units will not be permitted to enter social security numbers (SSN) during the online processing.  Council staff personnel will perform that function based upon receipt of a new adult application that accompanies the required "paper" submittals.

 

The Flint River Council will obtain a council-wide insurance policy that will cover all units within the council.  Units will collect $1 from each registering member to cover this cost.
