I currently work as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Paris Ouest. I am also a Researcher at the EconomiX-CNRS and an External Affiliate at the Galatasaray University Economic Research Center (GIAM). I studied Economics at Istanbul (B.A.) and Paris (M.A. and Ph.D.) and received my Ph.D. in 2008 from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. I work mostly in the area of environmental and energy economics. My research covers also topics in economic development, technical progress and economic growth.
