List of errors, typos, etc.

If you find things that are unclear or errors of any sort in the Fall 2008 edition of Foundations and Applications of Statistics, list them here.  Please fill out the list as follows:

  • name: your name (so you get credit)
  • page: number of page where problem occurs (pad with 0's to make it 4 digits so things sort properly)
  • location: where is it on the page?
  • type: what type of error is it (typo, math error, unclear, suggestion, etc.)
  • error/issue: what is wrong? what's the question? how should it be fixed (if you know).
  • resolution: leave this for me.

r pruim 0185 bulleted list other "solid blue", "dashed green", "dotted green", "red" -- colors don't show original is in color, but copies are not. I'll hand out colored pages when color is necessary to interpret. In this case, the different line types suffice. But let me know when you detect things like this, since I would like the text to read correctly even when printed in black and white.
