Installation

1. Online option:

1.1. Enter by telnet to the player

for someone who does not know what that is small howto:
Start - All programs - Accessories - Command prompt
telnet <player_addr>
Venus login: root

Exit from telnet - command exit
Exit from command prompt - command exit

and type the following commands:

cd /tmp
wget http://www.moservices.org/mos2/install
chmod +x install
./install

Runs the installation script.

1.2. Select the configuration that you want to install: 1 - Minimal, 2 - only the kernel.

We are waiting for some time. The script can run and ask for a reboot. Tell 1 (in the sense of yes). Player reloaded. If the restart does not ask for, press Enter and type the command reboot

1.3. Go to the Web interface at http://<player_addr> If all goes well established, you will see the picture, such as in the screenshot. If something is wrong - start again from step 1.

2. Offline option

2.1. Download two files: http://www.moservices.org/mos2/install2 и http://www.moservices.org/mos2/mos_min.zip Copy them to stick. Insert stick into the player.

2.2. Go telnet to the player (see step 1.1) and type the following commands:

cd /tmp/usbmounts/sda1
cp install2 /tmp
cp mos_min.zip /tmp
cd /tmp
chmod +x install2
./install2

Runs the installation script.

2.3. Select 1 (minimal installation) wait, press 1 (reboot). If the restart does not ask for, press Enter and type the command reboot

2.4. see step 1.3

Enjoy using!

After installation in web interface enter Main - Modules and install the modules you need.

To get a list of available modules and the latest versions from the repository, click "Update List" button in Modules page.



3. Installing moServices manager.

3.1. Download the latest version (OplaySMSetup.zip) from the Файлы tab

3.2. Unzip the downloaded archive.

3.3. Start OplaySMSetup.exe. Select the installation language:


after inviting the installation, click Next. Select the folder in which will be installed:


Click Next.

Specify the folder to create shortcut of the program:


Click Next.

Indicate whether you want to create a desktop shortcut to launch the program.


Click Next. Then click install.


After that the program is installed on your computer.

4. Installing Internet manager.
