ABOUT US

We are a practice dedicated to the homeopathic treatment of animals and humans.  In common with colleagues around the world Tom has found on many occasions that the patient coming to the surgery was often just as much the owner as the pet. While being a homeopathic practice we still believe in taking an integrated medical approach.  In this regard we will request appropriate investigative procedures such as blood tests, urine tests, radiographs, ultrasound etc.  where the results can shed more light on what is truly diseased in the patient.  A swollen leg can be due to a fracture, but with this eliminated it could be due to self trauma from an emotional cause such as in the case of a lick granuloma where a homeopathic medicine can do great good.  This is not to say it cannot help improve healing of a fracture, but the fracture may need to set and repaired properly under a general anaesthetic.  With homeopathy being used initial for the shock, bruising, pain and swelling, then to help recovery from the anaesthetic and finally to help with the healing of the actual fracture.  More can be read about this in the Case/Remedy of the month pages.
