Players Code of Conduct

Obligations towards the game
Ÿ
Make every effort to develop their own sporting abilities, in terms of skill, technique, tactics and stamina.
Ÿ
Give maximum effort and strive for the best possible performance during a game, even if his team is in a position where the desired result has already been achieved.
Ÿ
Always respect other players and shake hands after matches.
Ÿ
Set a positive example for others, particularly younger players and supporters.
Ÿ
Avoid all forms of gamesmanship and time wasting.
Ÿ
Not to use offensive language.
Obligations towards one’s own team
Ÿ
Make every effort consistent with fair play and the laws of the game to help their own team win.
Ÿ
Resist any influence, which might, or might be seen to, bring into question their commitment to the team.

Always take pride in their appearance

Always look after their equipment.
Ÿ
Always wear their shin pads to matches and training sessions.
Ÿ
Accept success and failure, victory and defeat, equally.
Ÿ
Know and abide by the Laws, rules and spirit of the game, and the competition rules.
Ÿ
Resist any temptation to take banned substances or use banned techniques.
Ÿ
Refrain from smoking or drinking alcohol.
Obligation towards Opponents
Ÿ
Treat opponents with due respect at all times, irrespective of the result of the game.
Ÿ
Safeguard the physical fitness of opponents, avoid violence and rough play, and help injured opponents.
Ÿ
Refrain from striking an opponent, team mate, coach or match official.
Obligation towards the Match Officials
Ÿ
Accept the decision of the Match Official without protest.
Ÿ
Avoid words or actions, which may mislead a Match Official.
Obligation towards Team Officials
Ÿ
Abide by the instructions of their coach and team Officials, provided they do not contradict the spirit of this code.
Ÿ
Show due respect towards both own and opposition team officials.
Obligations towards the Supporters
Ÿ
Show due respect to the interests of supporters. Do not argue or answer back to supporters.
