Fantastical Fabulist
Welcome to the Fantastical Fabulist, a site dedicated to the strange, rum and uncanny. As a fabulist the one thing that is most important to me in all the stories, illustrations, designs, role playing scenarios and other creative works that issue from my pen is that there is an element, at least, of something that seems to go beyond our mundane world. Something of the future or the past of our world or worlds very different from the one we know.
| I have been writing and illustrating tall tales of things slightly outside our usual realm of understanding for quite some time now. Along the way, many things have been discovered, and will be revealed to you on this web site in the fullness of time.
The Library, a collection of uncanny stories.
I have learned a lot of stories and tales which have appealed to my sense of the uncanny and I will share them with you. There are many esoteric lessons to be learned but also there are things that can not be fully understood with our puny human minds.
The Menagerie, a collection of monsters.
I have encountered many strange monstrous creatures and I feel it is my duty to outline the preparations, strategies and actions that saw me safely through these encounters along with detailed descriptions of the beasts themselves.
I have met many other intelligences and organisations which, although sometimes monstrous, must be respected with inclusion in a different kind of list altogether. The most powerful, feared and worshiped entities I have any information at all about.
Tarazet I have made a special study of the city of Tarazet, built around its own curse and doom, a dark place of ancient buildings where creatures from the very far future roam. I will tell you all I know of this strange place but unfortunately this is not yet everything.
This strange world is where I make my home and I would like to show you round.
