Weiwei Fang received his B.S. Degree in the School of Computer and Information, Hefei University of Technology(HFUT) in Jun.2003. From Sep.2003 to Jun.2005, he was a M.S. student in the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), Beihang University(BUAA). In Sep.2005, he was enrolled as a Ph.D. student of BUAA without entrance exam for excellent work. From Sep. 2006 to Dec. 2006, he was a research assistant in Fraunhofer HHI German-Sino Lab for Mobile Communications (MCI), TU Berlin. He is now working in the area of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) with Prof. Depei Qian, and is a Ph.D. candidate in the Sino-German Joint Software Institute (JSI), BUAA. He has taken part in several research projects on wired/wireless network, and has published serveral research papers on conferences/journals. Besides, he is an active member in the Libelium Wireless Sensor Network Research Group and in some other Open Source Communities, e.g., NS2, TinyOS, WSN. He has served as reviewers and TPC members of many conferences and journals.

Weiwei is currently in the process of finalizing his Ph.D. degree. He is now seeking a position in academia or industry at Beijing.
