The Family Story
Genealogy is complicated yet simple, or simply complicated! The same goes for the Internet. Trying to put genealogy on the Internet is simple - keeping it there is not. This revision is the latest attempt since the first "BD Origins" site appeared in 1999. The names haven't changed but what we know has, dramatically. To reiterate, the main aim of a genealogy website is to be found by anyone researching the same people. Hence this table of the key surnames (to make it easy for search engines).
What we know now is far too complicated and in some cases controversial to try and put it all on the site. (Not everyone wants to know about the skeletons.) If you have stumbled across this site check the complete Individual list on the Family Tree. If you find a connection please make contact. The stories, maps and photos have been removed, not lost. "The Dunne's of Portland" DVD is available to all relatives connected to the names on the left side of the table above. "The Taylor's of Allestree" DVD will, hopefully, be available in 2011, for the names on the right. | The interactive phpGedView Family Tree is BACK this time on a dedicated website: Update November 2010 |
