Q. If I see a mistake in the information presented, can I correct it?

The "Suggest" tab allows you to send corrections, updates, comments or any other information to the database administrator. Information on which individual you are referencing is automatically attached to the message when you make a suggestion using the "Suggest" tab. The database administrator will review your suggestion, contact you if there are questions, and then add the changes to the database in the next web update cycle.
Q. What are the three dropdown boxes located on the upper right of the pages?

These let you access additional information that is contained in the database. You can hover your mouse pointer over each to see the types of detailed information that is available on the site.
RESEARCH CENTER QUESTIONS
Q. Why do you have two different formats for your website?
A.
The genealogy site uses TNG software which does not offer the flexibility that we wanted for our research section. However, it is an outstanding genealogy software and we wanted to continue to use it. Our research section is hosted by Google and offers the features and flexibility we need to showcase our research notes and documents.
Q. Does the search feature work for the entire site?
A.
No, the genealogy section has its own search box, as does the research section. Each site should be regarded as being separate from the other in all respects.
Q. How do I make suggestions and comments for the Research Center?
A.
There is a "Comments" feature at the bottom of each page that you are welcome to use for comments on the page's contents. Or you can go to "Contact Us" and forward an e-mail to us.
Q. What is the Attachment feature at the bottom of each page?
A.
Sometimes there may be documents or media that we will attach that gives you more information. After the word "Attachment" you will see how many attachments have been added. Be sure to check each page to see if there are attachments.

The information we collect is used for internal review and
is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize
the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor.
With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitors preferences,
record user-specific information on what pages users access or visit, customize
Web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the
visitor sends.
With respect to living persons:
We do not provide vital statistics on living persons. Living persons are identified by their initials
and last name. If you are searching for
a Living person by using their full name, you will not have search
results. Pictures contain the full name
of the living person.
