What this world needs is the Word of God, and that's exactly what we at Faith Lutheran Church are bringing to this world. But who has time anymore to read the Bible? So we're bringing the Bible to our community with this 5 volume series on the book of the Acts of the Apostles. This CD ministry is rooted and grounded in the words of Jesus from Matthew 21:21-22 where our Lord says, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."
Our community of Saline County has many commuters, so many of whom are coal truck drivers, and we wanted to meet people where they are with God's Word. They are moving mountains with their trucks, and we are moving mountains by the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ. |
