Holy Hours with Prayers for Life
To Commemorate the Year of Saint Paul the Annunciation of the Lord Parish Ottawa Ontario
held monthly Holy Hours on the first Fridays of every month to pray for the respect for the dignity and sanctiry of all human life from conception until natural death
after the 9:00 AM mass until noon .
We began adoration after mass and would have a period of silence until 10.
At that time we prayed as a community from various booklets which included, readings from scripture, litanies for life, singing and periods of silence throughout the two hours. We prayed from 8 diferent Holy Hour booklets which were made for these Holy Hours.
As a rule we used one booklet for the first hour and another one for the second hour.
Usually the adult parishioners took turns leading the prayers during the first hour
The Youth of the parish usually led the prayers during the second Hour.
