Fairfield Township Fire Protection
Fairfield Township Fire and EMS Protection is provided through the Township fire levy and joint cooperation of the New Waterford Volunteer Fire Department, Leetonia Volunteer Fire Department, and Columbiana Fire Department as contracted by the Fairfield Township Trustees. In 2009, Fairfield Township completed the installation of a lake and dry hydrant project at the Fairfield Township Administration Complex. Aptly named "Old School Lake" by Crestview Elementary contest winner, Devon Turvey, this lake can provide necessary water to meet fire fighting needs throughout the community in case of emergency.
