ELIGIBILITY

First year student with admission secured in the department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
The eligibility to the program is assessed on the neediness of the candidate & his/her family background.
A grade in both intermediate and matriculation exam.

SELECTION OF CANDIDATE

There is one selection round per year. The applications are invited from bright but financially disadvantaged candidates pursuing bachelor’s degree at Mehran UET, Jamshoro in the field of Electronics, Telecommunication and Biomedical Engineering. Once applications are received, they are scrutinized and short listed. Then the short listed (e.g., 10) candidates are invited to appear before the interview board. Finally one candidate will be selected for the scholarship.

The scholarship will be awarded to the selected candidate(s) in four rounds after reviewing the presence and performance of the awarded.

TERMS & CONDITION

The following are the terms & conditions of the award of scholarship and the acceptance of the award is an acknowledgement of these obligations:

The scholarship is awarded for the period of one year in installments.
An awardee will not change the course of study specified in the letter of award without prior approval of the funding authorities.
Continuation of the scholarship is subjected to the progress in the first term of scholarship period. The student must secure at least 75% of marks in the annual and term exam.
The recipient must participate in at least one presentation or project every year.
The student must compliance with the rules and regulations of his/her department and institute. Any such breach will result in the unconditional termination of the scholarship.
