Project Managing and Leading the development of offshore drilling rig operations models and modelling algorithms for oil rig efficiency forecasting and user recommendation in the process of business decision making

Project Manager, Leading the development of offshore drilling rig operations models and modelling algorithms for oil rig efficiency forecasting and user recommendation in the process of business decision making
  • Delivered the project, based on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) award in excess of £200k, on time and 2.5% under budget
  • Developed a durable cooperation relationship between international education/academic and corporate worlds, leading to the creation of 8 placement and student projects
  • Managed the relationship on behalf of the project with the public funding body
  • Volunteered to project manage additional short term projects: product quality procedures audit, environmental projects, interns guidance, data covariance and pattern analysis

Personal and university projects include: Carer scheduling (MSc project), automatic language identification using stopwords (BsC hons project, 99.95% accuracy), piloting system of an observation drone, surface computing multi-touch coffee table , car dashboard PC system with touch screen interface, CMS from scratch, computerised light controlling system, embedded piloting system of an observation drone using Intel 8051 microcontroller (ONERA Drones Competition)

Performed a range of public, scientific, training and corporate talks such as: "Searching on the Internet: Using Google and its tools", "Recommender Systems", "Evolved Bayesian Network Models of Rig Operations in the Gulf of Mexico", "Talking Science: A superficial introduction to the subtle art of academic talks" and various executive management corporate presentations and demonstration.

Published a small range of conference publications and technical reports on Recommender Systems,  Evolved Bayesian Network Models and Oil Rig Operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
