This is how the tour went. Normally I have bad luck, but I guess my bad luck struck the most today.

 

Rita, Kathy, Desiree, and I got at the Allstate Arena at around 11:30ish. We waited until around 1:30 and then Kristy, Brooke, and Ramiele came out. Man it was so exciting! Kristy didn’t seem very interested or she wasn’t very enthusiastic. But I still got her signature. Brooke was such a sweetheart! She was so nice and very talkative. I didn’t feel uncomfortable talking to her at all. By this time Jason Castro, Syesha, Carly, and Michael Johns had come out. Ramiele was so cute! She was short but so energetic. My friends took a picture with Jason, but he ended up closing his eyes. Haha. Carly was so nice too. But she wasn’t taking any pictures with anyone. Syesha came and I gave her a bar of chocolate. She goes “Oh sorry, I’m trying to cut down on those.” Then I say “Oh, I’m sorry.” And she says, “I’ll take it anyways.”

            Ooh Jason was so handsome. His eyes are so pretty and the way he put his dreads were awesome. I got his signature and he drew a face with dreads on it! lol! Michael Johns was also really nice. He took his time with everyone. He stayed the longest making sure he got everybody. So he was dehydrated and was wondering if anyone had a bottle of water. So this girl gives him one, and it wasn’t open, and he drank it. It was also her birthday so he sang happy birthday to her and it looked like she was going to faint! When he signed my book (it had why I loved each contestant), he read “Why I Love Michael Johns” and he was like “Should I answer this?” Haha. He’s too funny.

            By now it was around 3:00 and the Davids and Chikezie hadn’t come out yet. I really really wanted David Archuleta to come out. The guards said that if they didn’t come out by 3:30, they probably weren’t going to come out because they had something to do at 4. So I’m getting really depressed because it was around 3:25, then David Archuleta comes out! And man I was so excited and happy. He had started on the other side. So I’m all giggly and excited and I keep looking at him. So now it’s around 3:55, and he was close to us! But then he had to go! Everyone on our side kept saying “David! Hurry! Please!” He made his “I’m sorry” face, and had to go. Before that he just ran and slapped our hands. I was pretty bummed that I didn’t get a chance to say anything to him. If he had 10 more minutes he could have gotten to us. But ughh, man was I disappointed.

            After all that, my friends and I head over to Chipotle to eat, and Target to just hang around. So we also saw some other Niles West people, and they got meet and greet passes through Ramiele! (If you’re Filipino, and you want to get to the after party, suck up to Ramiele.) I was just like: UGHH! WE COULDA DONE THAT! Because we had Desiree, who’s Filipino. I had to beg my mom to stay after using all these “It’s a one chance in a lifetime to meet David.” And finally she let me stay until 12.

            The concert was amazing. They had this poptart thing to hype everyone up and it worked very well! So Chikezie was first and he did a good job with getting the party started. (I’m sorry, I’m not very good at telling reviews.)

            Ramiele did good, but not so great. Her voice was so different in the 2 songs she sang. Oh wow Michael Johns did amazing. His voice was so… whooo. Kristy did a lot of sexy moves. I missed her 2^nd song because I had to go to the bathroom. Carly, wow! She did really well! I loved her first song! When Brooke came and sang Let it Be, it was really moving-like. Then there was intermission and we saw the hilarious guitar hero commercial. Jason Castro did really good too. My friend started to cry after he sang somewhere over the rainbow. I felt really bad Syesha. Her microphone wasn’t on for the first song, and the crowd was going crazy wondering what’s happening. But she kept her cool, and it went well. So David Archuleta comes on, and the crowd goes wild! Including me! I’m screaming and screaming like I’ve never done before. The first part of Angels, he sang it like how he sang on American Idol. Then the 2^nd part, I was wow-ed because he changed it up! Then I was freaking out when he sang Apologize because he did so good! I loved Stand By Me and the Beautiful Girls part… and the dancing. And When You Say You Love Me was really sad and I loved it. Then Cook goes on and most of the crowd is standing and cheering. (I guess most of the audience were wordnerds.) He sang 5 songs and I guess he did good. I didn’t hear very well because of this girl constantly screaming the same high pitched scream over and over.

We then left during Please Don’t Stop the Music and ran outside to where we were before. We waited about an hour. Kristy had come out first. Kathy and I felt bad for not giving her anything to sign because we already got it. Then Michael Johns, and Brooke, and Syesha. I got a sweaty hug from Michael Johns and a bad picture with Syesha. I was losing hope again. It was 11:30. David Archuleta hadn’t come out yet and they had to leave at 12ish. Then I heard a lot of screaming and he came! I grabbed my gift which was a bottle of paper stars. And what luck, the cap had come out and some of my stars fell out. So I thought “Nevermind!” and just decided not to give it to him. He only had 15 minutes so I got my but to where he was, and all the other people were and I tried my best to get to the fence. He kept moving every time I got close enough. Finally I got the front and was able to stick my ipod through the fence. Then he moved and I was like “NOOO! DAVID!” I was so bummed. And I asked the security guard if he can give my ipod to David to sign. He sees me and takes my ipod. It took some time but I kept watch on it. Finally he gave it back to me, and I thought it wasn’t signed because I didn’t see David sign it (he was in such a rush). I looked really sad, and he said “Is this yours.” And then I nodded, and he showed me the autograph. I was like “OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!” And I took off with a couple of bad pictures.

 

So basically my day wasn’t what I expected, but I got to touch David’s hand, and I had some pictures. I wished I got to talk to him and give him my ipod to sign, instead of the security. Rita and Kathy.. lucky people. They got Jason to hug them.
