Abstracts for the International Symposium on Face and Politeness should be approximately 400 words (excluding any references) and submitted as Word or pdf files to FacePoliteness2009@gmail.com by 1st February 2009. Abstracts should include a specific focus on politeness, impoliteness or face, and also indicate the methodology and data used. All submissions will be responded to by the end of February.
