This picture was taken in August of 1996. I was 8 years old and posing for a drawing (my brother and sister did the same). I recently discovered this in my desk drawer amongst other pictures which will be added soon. Oh, and I loved the Cleveland Indians back then. 16 random facts: 1 - I am a citizen of the Netherlands and speak Dutch 2 - When I was 8 I was told on by a stewardess of a cruise ship, and I got yelled at by my dad and told to stand in a corner. 3 - In 2nd grade I sang a song about the Cleveland Indians with my class (When Kenny Lofton stole the bases, it put a smile on all our faces. When Albert Bell, hit the ball, it flew like a bird right over the wall.) This was when the Indians were good. 4 - I sliced a big flap of my skin off in 4th grade with the Fiskars safety scissors and was told off by my teacher for going to the nurse without asking (coincidentally also the same woman who didn't believe me when I told her I had chicken pox). 5 - My favorite way to relax [would be] to sail in a little one person sailboat for hours, so peaceful. 6 - I have a twin sister who goes to Georgetown 7 - I am terrified of needles, a fear I am slowly getting over...very slowly 8 - I have a very small personal space bubble, and enjoy giving massages 9 - Rock-climbing is my favorite sport 10 - The first girl I said "I love you" (ah, naive young love) to was when I was 13 to a girl from Texas I only talked to on the phone (I met her at the very end of Space Camp) 11 - I've been to Space Camp 12 - My hair started out as platinum blonde 13 - The first girl I ever liked was a girl from my karate class when I was 9 14 - I like anime/manga (DBZ was my show back in the day) 15 - I love all kinds of music (barring most country and death/thrash metal) and I have 43gb of music 16 - When I saw Love Actually when it came out in theatres, I developed a huge crush on Keira Knightley and for a time wanted to become an actor and study in England I'll tag clande, summerfrost photography, and stephsshoes (she already got tagged I just found out) so rerinha

I put a handful of patterns in my document in Inkscape (vector drawing app), and printed it out. Those are my new Fiskars brand "Titanium Nitride" scissors from my Home Depot run tonight. They can cut cardboard, and lots else without dulling, or while dulling far more slowly than regular scissors. I picked up a pair for inside, and one for my garage, and used them each to cut the other one's handle free of its nylon zip-tie packaging. I don't know what people do when they only buy one.
